That’s Me

Hi, I’m Yosei, and for as long as I can remember, I have loved THINGS. What I mean by that is, I’ve always had a fascination with the objects that are a part of our daily lives. My childhood was defined by Optimus Prime, LEGO, model planes, and earth-movers. My resulting love for linkages, pulleys, and pistons led me down a path to begin making mechanical creations of my own, to earn a degree in mechanical engineering, and to develop my unfaltering passion to create wonderful things from ideas.

I believe the objects we interact with each day can have a profoundly positive effect on the quality of our lives. However, I feel a responsibility to consider not just the immediate quality of our own lives, but also those of other species with whom we share this planet, as well as future generations. I believe that good, considered design serves as an important nucleus to begin shaping a better world, and securing a bright future. Let’s get Making!

Here’s What I’m Good At

This is my wheelhouse! I can fabricate things in wood, metal, plastics, and even fabric. It’s hard to list everything, but here are a few ways I make things:
